Whale Sharks
St Helena's Volcanic Coast-line presents a variety of dive sites including, Cave's, Archways, Sea Mounts and reef structures that host a diverse and abundance of marine life, including species that are endemic to the Island. During our peak diving season, December to June, water temperatures of 25 degrees C with an average visibility of 30-35m can be experienced.
Pelagic species, such as Wahoo, Yellow Fin Tuna, Darado can also be seen on a few Dive Site's

Encounters with Chilean Devil Ray,s Green & Hawk's Bill Turtles are common during the peak season. Divers have the opportunity of seeing mature Devils Rays in large numbers. Recently we have had the privileged of Whale Sharks joining on several dives.
St Helena Island offers great Night Diving and with the added bonus
Swim with giants. The whale shark is the largest fish in the sea measuring up to 15 metres in length. Every year between December and March whale sharks migrate to our waters. St Helena is one of a few places in the world where large fully mature male and female whales sharks gather in extraordinary numbers.
